Calvin Harris – My Way

After the international success of his possible first lead single to fall off the upcoming album ‘This Is What You Came For,’ alongside Barbadian pop princess, Rihanna, Calvin Harris has just unveiled his possible second official single titled ‘My Way.

The song had much speculation about who would possibly feature on this new song, as many reports and theories included the likes of Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Ellie Goulding. Turns out however that all these were indeed false, and Calvin has gone it alone.

The song was released on digital retailers on Sept. 16.

Calvin has definitely made a mark in the music business as the worlds biggest DJ at this moment in time with the songs he has recorded and produced in the past, and I don’t think that reign will let up as of yet. Although this song has a more subtle approach, it’s still, of course, a very catchy song.

The lyrics themselves seem to be a bit of shade throwing at a relationship. Now whether it’s about Miss you know who (which I won’t say, because I don’t particularly want a lawsuit on my hands) or whether it’s just a general song with no intended shade, it seems to have come at a very inconvenient time. Let’s not forget the DJ’s past relationship with another pop star too, could it be about her? I’m beginning to feel like we’re onto another Beyoncé “becky with the good hair” situation.

Anywho, judging by the first two singles, this album seems to be Calvin’s most forefront album of his career yet, as this era he seems to have moved forward in his productions and dance style, which again, will only give all the more reason as to why he’s the hottest DJ on the planet right now.
