Lady Gaga – Million Reasons

The queen of pop has debuted a promotional song for her upcoming highly awaited fith album ‘Joanne,’ along with the official pre-order for the album titled ‘Million Reasons.’

After the announcement of Gaga playing the Superbowl Halftime Show next year in February, as well as her current role in the sixth season of American Horror Story, and not long after lead single ‘Perfect Illusion,’ Gaga’s more alternative take on pop music is actually going pretty well. Of course! She’s Lady Gaga after all. The song was written by Gaga herself, as well as recent pen pals Hillary Lindsay and Mark Ronson.

So it seems that when it comes down to writing those beautiful heart felt numbers, she’s still got it. Every era Gaga seems to serve those heart strings on a platinum, diamond encrusted plate and it never gets boring. From ‘Brown Eyes,’ to ‘Speechless,’ from ‘You and I,’ to ‘Dope,’ and now ‘Million Reasons.’

It’s phenomenal that we watch a woman stride from strength to strength, genre to genre, era to era, and still manage to not only outdo herself, but also other artists, with even the slower ballads.

This song has more of a country sound to it, a little like You And I, but minus the rock and roll, but more heart and soul. The melodies and Gaga’s vocals give you the real chills and really puts you in a place of honesty.

Could we be watching Gaga enter her second imperial phase? I think so. I believe when it comes to Lady Gaga and her music, sales and chart positions don’t count. The don’t need to. When you listen to every album from the pop queen herself, you notice that no album sounds the same. Gaga is in for the music, and that is true artistry.
