MTV European Music Awards 2016


So last night was the annual event that is the MTV European Music Awards, which celebrates musical talent from all over the world despite its name. The show was hosted by singer Bebe Rexha, along with performances from the likes of Shawn Mendes, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, and Green Day to name a few.

Another year, another EMA’s over and done with. After winning two awards last night, Lady Gaga is now officially the most awarded female in EMA history with 10 awards, also adding the title as the most awarded artist in MTV Awards history with a total of 35 awards! Congratulations to her. Justin Bieber also prolonged his title as the most awarded artist of all time in EMA history by adding two awards to his collection, now accumulating his EMA total to 20! Congratulations to him.

Also a huge congratulations to Green Day for their outstanding contributions to music throughout their career, and receiving the Global Icon Award. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners, until next year.
