59th_grammy_awards_oep

The most important night in recognition of outstanding contributions towards music is drawing closer and closer, as one year ends and the other stars, and with tradition, the nominations are revealed just several weeks before the main event.

The nominations were revealed on the 6th of December sending stan Twitter into complete meltdown. Beyoncé scores nine nominations including Album of the Year, who she is to compete against Adele, Justin Bieber, Drake and Sturgell Simpson for the gong. Unfortunately though, even though releasing two projects, Frank Ocean missed all deadlines for GRAMMY submissions so if you’re wondering why Frank isn’t on there, that’s why. Maybe next year.

The show will be hosted by James Corden on the 8th February 2017.
