Superstar Scottish stud DJ Calvin Harris has just released yet another track off of his upcoming album ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1′ and follows after singles ‘Slide,’ ‘Heatstroke,’ and ‘Rollin’. The singles also feature collaborations along the likes of Nicki Minaj, and Snoop Dogg to name a few. The album will be released on 30th June this year.

Ok so in my review of the last song Calvin released, I must admit I was a little too sinister. I was just getting bored of all the songs starting to sound the same. It’s like someone saw and Calvin has now released probably the summer song of this year.

It’s very funk, and has Caribbean vibes. It has a very similar arrangement to ‘Heatstroke.’ Big Sean’s part is also very enjoyable unlike the last 3 songs where it was very rap majority. Sean has his own little breakdown and then it zooms right back into Katy’s very simple, but extremely heavenly little hook.

The whole thing just picks you up right out of your day and transports you into a place of happiness where your layed in the sun and can just relax. It doesn’t literally do that so don’t sue.  It has you grooving along at the very minute the beat drops and that’s what Calvin is, and should continue to be about. This is undoubtedly the best song released of the album so far, and my curiosity for the album has jumped right back up again.
